Inbound Filter
The Inbound Filter section groups every rule that SGuard applies to messages received from external senders. Rules are evaluated in a fixed order — Allow List first, then Whitelist, then the spam/blacklist engine, then URL Blacklist and DKIM/RBL checks — so a rule earlier in the chain can short-circuit decisions made later.

Mailboxes in This Section
| Mailbox | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Allow List | Pre-approve senders so their mail bypasses spam scoring entirely |
| Whitelist | Always classify mail from listed senders as Clean (still scanned for malware) |
| Blacklist | Always block mail from listed senders, content patterns, or attachment fingerprints |
| Spam list management | Manage the keyword and pattern list used by the spam scoring engine |
| URL Blacklist | Block messages that contain known malicious URLs |
| Greylist Exceptions | Bypass greylist temporary deferrals for trusted senders |
| Greylist Status | Read-only runtime view of senders currently held by the greylist |
| DKIM Inspection List | List of domains whose mail must pass DKIM signature verification |
| RBL Exception List | Bypass Real-time Blackhole List checks for trusted senders or networks |
