EG Platform Service

EG Platform is VNETWORK's email gateway suite. It sits between the internet and the organization's mail server and inspects every message in both directions, blocking threats on the way in and preventing data leakage on the way out.

  • Inbound (Internet → Mail Server) is inspected by two layers in series: SpamGuard first, then ReceiveGuard
  • Outbound (Mail Server → Internet) is inspected by SendGuard, which is part of the SGUARD product

Products in the Suite​

EG Platform is delivered as two administrator portals — one for each product. The products run in series on the inbound path and share the same physical appliance family.

SGUARD​

The SGUARD portal manages two engines that share a single web interface:

  • SpamGuard — first-line inbound filter. Blocks spam, spoofing (DKIM/SPF), greylist deferrals, RBL-listed senders, malicious URLs, and signature-based malware.
  • SendGuard — outbound filter. Approval workflow, PII protection, account suspension, attachment audit, and large-file URL conversion.

RGUARD​

The RGUARD portal (ReceiveGuard) is the second-line inbound filter. It runs after SpamGuard and applies deeper inspection — typically AI-based content analysis, sandboxing, YARA rules, and other techniques aimed at threats that pass simple signature checks (BEC, APT, zero-day phishing).
