Live Recording

LSS supports three recording methods for Linear TV channels.

EPG-based Recording​

EPG Setting

LSS retrieves recording tasks from UTF-8 XML files stored in OSS. The file naming format is {ChannelName}-{Date}.xml. Files must contain channel information and program entries with start/end timestamps in yyyy-mm-ddTHH:MM:ssZ format.

Configure the OSS path for EPG XML files in Settings > OSS.

Recording Schedule​

LSS supports both one-time and repeatable recording schedules.

One-time Recording​

One-time Recording

Specify the start and end time for a single recording session.

Repeatable Recording​

Repeatable Recording

Set up recurring recordings at intervals of every 1 hour, 3 hours, or daily.

Recording Trigger​

Manual recording control allows users to start or stop recording directly from the Channels interface.

Recording Results​

Recording results are displayed under the Live Recording List section. Notifications are sent to the configured endpoint upon completion or errors. Configure the notification endpoint in Settings > Notification.
