May 2026 — Eagle CDN, SwiftCoder transcoding & Kubernetes
· One min read
A big month for delivery: the Eagle multi-CDN platform, the SwiftCoder transcoding stack, and hardening across Managed Kubernetes.
Eagle CDN
- Analytics dashboard — traffic, latency, cost and active streams, with per-provider observability tabs.
- Multi-CDN settings — per-CDN health, alert channels, token security and a backup CDN.
- Optimization suite — Minify, Brotli and image optimization with live preview and stats.
- Security — key rotation, manifest inspector and Verimatrix / HLS-AES validation, with session-bound manifests and DRM.
- Rule engine — a nested rule builder with conditions, templates and live validation.
- Access controls — IP, referer, CORS, geo and DDoS protection.
SwiftCoder transcoding
- Transcoding dashboard with job stats, HLS utilities and refined filters.
- Create, manage and delete video transcoding jobs; domain details, profiles and system settings.
Managed Kubernetes
- Recovery action for stuck node pools from the pool detail page.
- Manual pools preserve your configured min/max sizes; the pool list refetches reliably.
Compute
- The Cloud Compute console — instances, networking, snapshots and backups — and CDN per-domain usage reporting continue to be refined.
