Cloud Encoding
Overview
Cloud Encoding takes a source file and produces packaged, adaptive-bitrate renditions (HLS/DASH) ready for delivery. It handles the transcode-and-package step of a VOD workflow so you do not maintain your own encoding farm.
When to use it
Use Cloud Encoding when you have source masters and need broadcast-ready ABR renditions for on-demand playback across devices, with predictable per-job pricing.
