Add New DNS Record
Overview
This function allows you to manually add DNS records for each site on the VNIS system, helping you control the detailed operation of domains, services, and applications.
Implementation Steps
1. Access DNS Records Page
- Go to the DNS management page of the site you want to operate on.
2. Click Add record
- Click the Add record button to open the new record configuration window.
3. Enter Record Information
- Type (Record Type): Select record type (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SRV, CAA...)
- TTL (Time to Live): DNS cache time (30-86400 seconds, default 120)
- Record name: Enter sub-record name, use
@
for root domain (example:nghiks.vn
) - Value: Enter value corresponding to record type (IP, hostname, etc.)
4. Save Record
- Click Add to save the record to the system, or Cancel to cancel the operation.
Notes
- Adding the correct format helps ensure domain operation.
- Each record type serves different purposes (A for websites, MX for email, etc.).
- Records can be edited or deleted as needed after addition.
