Understanding the Audit Log
VNIS maintains comprehensive activity tracking for all account modifications and platform interactions through the Audit Log system. This centralized logging provides complete visibility into account changes and user actions.
Navigate to Account > Audit Log to access the activity tracking interface.

Audit Log Structure
The Audit Log interface displays activity data across seven primary columns:
- Date - Timestamp indicating when the action occurred
- Domain - Target domain affected by the action
- Actions - Specific operations performed (
update
,create_record
,delete_record
,scan_record
,create_site
) - User - Email address of the account holder who performed the action
- IP Address - Source IP address from which the action originated
- Changes - Platform component modified (
dns
,origin_address
,ddos
,zone
,settings
) - Source - Platform access method used to perform the action
Detailed Activity Review
Select any log entry to access comprehensive change details presented in JSON format. This detailed view provides complete information about the specific modifications made during each recorded action.
